We speak of repeated miscarriages when at least two clinical miscarriages have been diagnosed. This problem can be caused by multiple factors, such as genetic abnormalities in either the parents and/or the embryo, environmental factors, hormonal disorders, malformations of the female genital tract, infections, etc.

It should also be noted that repeated miscarriages are more common in patients over the age of 35. Unfortunately, despite multiple examinations, it is not possible to identify a cause in more than half of the cases.

Any new pregnancy can benefit from the close medical follow-up of a gynecologist, who will also offer counselling that is tailored to the couple's situation. The frequency of these consultations is determined by the specialist.
