Medical care

During the first consultation for subfertilityReduced fertility., a physician of the CPMA, FMH specialist in obstetrics and gynecology with advanced training in reproductive medicine and gynecological endocrinology,  receives the couple. This doctor will be responsible for following the couple during the treatment period, despite the fact that some routine acts may be delegated to other team doctors. Whenever possible, patients are asked to consult as a couple, even if the subfertilityReduced fertility. seems to have originated in one of the partners only.

During this initial phase, a complete medical history and a control cycle are performed. This phase is under the responsibility of the treating physician who decides on the series of additional tests he or she deems necessary. The purpose of these tests is to reach a diagnosis and a treatment proposal.
